Once again, here I am spitting out the some old stuff on paper with ink. I promise that there has been closure, but its good not to forget the past. Somehow, most of us repeat the same dumb mistakes, and actually saving ourselves from tragedy can be so simply accomplished. When I look at old pictures and know what these poems represent, I smile for the good times and let the bad things guide me to decisions that produce more smiles.

A Titleless Song

I wanted take a shot at writing lyrics for a song. "Dusk and Summer" by Dashboard Confessional had just came out and I was in love with the title track while I wrote this. Matt came up with all the music for it, but he hasn't recorded it yet. He turned it from the raw-emo sound that I had in my head, to a catchy jazz beat.
